Chris,

As a University graduate with a degree in Biology and graduate studies in Biology, CAH is not a topic covered in many regular Biology textbooks. As I recall, it was mentioned in Physiology and in graudate books under endocrinology, but not as a study of genetics. There are far more common geneteic diseases with the same pattern of inheritance as CAH and thus, they use those that people have heard of more often. The genetics of CAH is not uncommon.

I’m just puzzled about why it would be included in a general Biology book.
