Chris Russell I am sorry that you are getting ditched on so hard. But you must have known that as parents we are very protective of our children and there bodies. NOW...if an adult wants to be photographed and sell the photos this is there business.....not that it does not affect the long term damage and pysch to someone with CAH. If you had asked for porn photos you may have gotten a better response on a website of that nature as they will sell there souls for a nickle. I do promote educational nature needed to further enlighten us on the results of untreated cah or undiagnosed. But I think the photos could be drawn from the mind of a good artist rather than use a real model and insult ones integrity. They use sketch artists in court why not biology books. I wish you luck on your quest of aquiring what you have been sent to do ........ but not from the result of a child /adults who have been subjected to this torture of a disorder that deforms the genitalia. This would be like asking a person with a cleft palate to do an upclose photo shoot of the mouth and face. Please understand our sensitivity to the issue at hand and realize that you have come to a board that we use to support one another when we are overwhelmed with fears that may come into our life....such as this. I hope you understand our neglect of shying away from request such as this. Are you a parent ? If not someday when you become one ....remember asking a group of parents/ adults for what you have requested. Then you will know how much you crossed the barrier of dignity , integrity, protection of our loved ones. Not wanting to rag on you as a person as you are just doing what is asked by your superior...... I am sure he/she knew what response you would recieve and they chose to pass the ugly detail to you so they can sleep at night.
