I’m 5’1. My non-CAH sister is 5’0. My mother was 5’0 and my father is about 5’9. I’ve never heard of artoritis (does that effect the eyes?) until I just searched on it. Is is something I can look forwar to? :-)

I don’t think I have any mental disorders but I could just be the last to know. Just kidding, I’ve found it easier to have a sense of humor! I really haven’t had too much difficulty with CAH. I think it is because it is the only life I’ve known. Yes, I had lots of crisis’ as a child. As I grew older, they were less frequent. I can only remember 2 or 3 episodes in my adult life.

I don’t know about SSI (I’m a lot of help - don’t know this, don’t know that!). I’ve never applied for it and I don’t know anyone who has.

I’ve never even met someone else with CAH. I did have an older sister with CAH, who would be about your age, die at 10 days old. Out of eight kids, just her (Marie) and I have CAH. I thank God for Marie because if she hadn’t come first, I wouldn’t be here.
