CONGRADUALTIONS ! You did the right thing for your family structure. As for her agitation I can relate but she knew the necessity to cooperate it really is a shock to the system. She’ll get through that. If she is to endure the dilations please consider knockout drugs to lessen the meomory of more trauma. At that age someone doesn’t know what was done but the feelings are always there until addressed.  She needs to look this way and any other way isn’t acceptable and it wasn’t her choice. That’s a majority view and that along with someone being able to wait (a choice by other family stuctures) needs acknowledgment and support.
