Dear Lynn,

You know about me and having Hashi. I’m grateful for your Email about it. I’ve been scanning the Internet looking at medical sites and other sites having to do with Hashi from waht I gather it is a common genetic disease but still this is something else. They don’t talk about CAH and they don’t talk about this either! I’ve been to Endos my whole life and it took until 34 and after dealing with cancer for hey lets look at your thyroid? BLahhhhh .

I’ve gathered from reading that there is an adrenal gland misfunction that does have something to do with it besides having a genetic predisposition for Hashi. I coughed up a fur ball after seeing CAH and LOCAH mention by some with Hashi they are seeing a conection too but from the other side  but I’m not really sure about all this. Plus a connection with Addision’s disease, Lupus, Ruematiod Arthristis (sp?)

I’m trying to understand and you have hyperthyrodism right now? Does it go from hyper to normal to Hypo and then maybe back before  it eventually goes hypo? but in some cases it might go back to normal? Has your weight gone from thin to normal to fat and back again your whole life? Are you on any medication for the Hashi?yet because I know that they like to monitor it. I had my blood test and the cortisol level was 14.7 taken @1100am w/the morning range 4.2-38.4 ug/dl. My glucose level was 80 MG/DL range(70-110)   I don’t know if that helps you but I wanted to share.

This myxadema madness and the strange occurances causes concern for me ok scares me and does the numbers for your blood go from one extreme to the other? I went from Borderline hypo back to normal range within a week but the hyper part I would like to know about because that part feels like crazy. Iv’e been havingtrouble breathing and was wondering if you have that?

Heck, I wrote because it is so good to know you are out there and I hope everything works out. I’ve been reading where somehow reducing all things that are a stress to you helps with this.

take care and write back if you can
