This can actually be a good thing. In our case a somewhat similar incident really shook the doctors and they took us very seriously ever after that. My wife says not long after, one of the doctors said something to the affect of, "Oh, yeah, we had a meeting about him." and she noticed that all the doctors and nurses we usually dealt with took every phone call totally serious.

A little aside note, when Jonathan had his worst incident I was in the middle of reading Catch Me if You Can. I had just got to the part where he spent six-horrible months in a French prison, and was feeling sorry for the guy. As I watched the team of doctors working on Jonathan it occurred to me that the author of the book, had posed as an emergency room pediatrician, for some time. The idea that one of those doctors would be a 19-year-old kid posing as a doctor made my blood boil. I didn’t feel so sorry about what they did to him in the French prison after that.
