But do the suspect it to be an infection? Do they think the sinuses drained into his lungs and maybe he has bronchitis now? Did he have a fever at all? I am sorry for all these questions but you have lived most every parents nightmare, and if I can prevent this happening to my child I want to try to get details. Aren’t you scared to death now? I am sure your holding your breath hoping it won’t happen again. What does the endocrinologist think? I would want some kind of answers so I could be prepared for the next time IF it would occur again. I read on here that some have sugar problems. Maybe someone else could elaborate on that. With that sugar level crashing so hard maybe they should look into that. I don’t know I am not a doctor and I don’t know all the circumstance but if that happened to us, I wouldn’t rest until I found out exactly what went wrong, and why. You shouldn’t be put through that worry of holding your breath every time he gets sick now. That sounded horrific. I would make sure I would get answers so I had peace. I will send up a little pray for him tonight. Poor guy. Is he feeling any better today since the meds. wore down? My daughter has some allergies. It caused her so many sinus infections until we had her adenoids removed. She pulled through it like a champ. It was the infections and the snoring she could no longer endure. Let us know how he continues to do. Remember, one can never ask too many questions of their doctors. If you need more reasurrance, then press the issue if you are needing a bit more reasurrance than what you were given.
