i had a great 4th.  we had a turkey dinner(i never said i was normal)  it is really to hot here to do a barbaque.  i live in the high derest of ca.  it was 114 degress yesterday.some friends and i went to fireworks display.  we have 5 bases within 30 miles.  this is a real yanky dodol town.  they had a 45mins display sending  3 or 4 at a time up and over 50 at the end.  i have lived in 5 diffrent citys,  but this little town has only 23,000, but they have the best fireworks.  this year we could not buy fireworks, because this whole area is ready to burn. we got 3x more rainfall, the weeds are very high.
