I realized the moment I hit "Submit Message", that those words didn’t come out right! I’m sorry if I offended anyone - I certainly did not mean to imply that virulization makes one any less of a female!! I was referring to the theory (and I stress that it IS a theory) of masculinization of the fetal brain while in utero: some people have tried to tell me that females with CAH who were NOT treated in utero are very "tomboyish", which I don’t believe either (I know of very "feminine" CAHer’s as well as "tomboys" who DON’T have CAH!). All I really meant was that my daughter - whether by dex treatment and/or genetics alone - is a "girly-girl" through and through! God bless,

Wendy-Lee
