I know through reading so many posts that there are several of you out there that have mentioned some sort of "red flagging" done through your local emergency systems to allow for special attention to be placed on your CAH children. I, along with another woman in my town, are trying to get our local ambulance corp to adopt a protocol program that would allow this, however they state that they are unaware of any such thing. Actually they feel that they may be able to arrange for the system to be utilized with the child’s HOME telephone number, but not by the child’s name!! They said they are willing to help us out any way that they can and asked if we could find out what type of software program that these other area ambulance corp are using. So, my question is: If you have arranged such a system in your area, do you know or could you find out for me how it works and how it was arranged and exactly what is the system that they are using?
