i am relatively new to this board. i have a toddler son with swcah. i just can not get over some of the issues people are having with this and wonder if my son’s story sounds like anyone else’s??

he HAS had some hospitalizations for stomach viruses, but other than that, is rarely ever sick. he is on a low dose of cortef (5mg/day---in 3 doses) and has very LOW 17ohps, like in the 20s. however, he is growing ok and is following the 25%, which is appropriate considering me and my husband’s heighth. i guess i can’t be sure about headaches, but he has great stamina and never appears ill at all. just wondering if others of you are having a relatively easy time with cah, or should i expect it to get trickier as he gets older?? oh, he is overweight, but so were his other siblings at this age. he is 18 months and does wear an 18 months, but is in the 90% for weight. for those of you having a tougher time, i am so sorry to hear it and hope that things resolve and improve for all of you soon! you are in my prayers!!
