I have posted about this in the past as I have met with our local EMS and have all the info on file there for my 2 CAH girls. As I understand it, for our 911 system, it will flag when our home # comes up as well. So, no, it doesn’t help if you are somewhere other than home, but its something. Our director of EMS gave me the advice though to label our carseats visably with the pertinent info in case of an accident, etc. Also, if you live in a small town as I do and you meet with them, they will probably remember you and your kids names to where if they heard them come in on a call, they’d recall something.
