Kathy has been kind enough to share pictures of her son with me and the difference in him is truly astounding!!! 

A year or more ago, I was saddened and shocked to see how thin and sick he looked on the occasion of his sister’s wedding...gaunt, pale, with shadows under eyes, and his tuxedo hanging off of him.  A recent picture shows him pink-cheeked and smiling...a completely different boy!

I am so glad that there are doctors around like Peter Hindmarsh who are willing to think outside the box.  I also think you deserve credit, Kathy, for not resting till you got your son back again....it has been a long and rocky road!  None of this would have happened without your persistence! 

Like others have said, I look forward to seeing Dr. Hindmarsh’s article.  It is wonderful to know that new treatments are being developed for our children, which can hopefully help us overcome some of the difficulties of glucocorticoid treatment for CAH.   Congratulations!!!!
