re: To CAH Adults

Hi Cathy,

There are some things that I enjoy that other people without CAH find stressful. For example driving, I can drive all day and take lunch on the run. Someone not telling me something or not being real with me is a stressful situation. I need to know all the good possible outcomes and all the bad possible outcomes then I’m fine.

I like to do ...ok need to do physical things but that is just me. I’m not much for a job where you have to stand or sit in place all day but that doesn’t mean it’s not for someone else with CAH or heck me either if that is the only job out there : )

What type of things does your sone like to do when he isn’t working? maybe his career path is somewhere in there? Does he like his major in school besides doing well in it meaning a passion for it? or maybe work it from this angle : ) why is the job to physical for him? what does the Endo say? things are different for us all and physical or a mixture is good for my metabolism and  put on a lot of weight as my jobs became completely stationary. Why is the job to stressful? and is there anything that might be put in place to help with that? My stress is at times with  coworkers but that is my issue and staying focused on the job ..the task at hand helps. I’m good with customers and an old boss once told me that " If it wasn’t for how you act with the customers, I would of gotten rid of you a long time ago."

Do what you like and then you like what you do  : )

Would he be into something like an accounts payable/receivable position at a small company? Is he stressed by working for someone else and has his own ideas ..dreams about a business? Does he like to somewhat plan his own day?

Maybe he could put together a list of his strengths or maybe do a career test? I did that and it matched the job that I have now plus ones that I liked in the past.

Is he getting enough sleep?

maybe a stress management course? or something like that?

Good Luck
