As you may have read in the post below, my son 17,  is now using a pump.  He has not been able to handle stress well, however since he now has the option to give himself a small bolus dose which is absorbed immediately and has mad a big difference.  In our experience the smaller (in his case continuous) doses of h/c have made such difference to his mood and he is a different person as he does not get the highs and lows.
