KarenI just have LOCAH, and I sweat a lot. Also, part of the reason I was finally diagnosed is because I was 22 and I’d been having hot flashes since I was a kid, only they’d gotten so I just had them all the time. I never wore a winter coat even in northern Vermont, cause I just heated the air all around me. Even in the winter I was often wearing shorts and sleeveless shirts. Once they gave me medication I had to buy a coat!
I do have to be very careful in the hot weather because I can get heat-related sickness very quickly. I used to work in a non-air-conditioned environment, and if it got hotter than 90 outside I had to go home or I’d get violently ill. Would be interested in hearing from anyone else specifically about the heat-related end of things. On dex the hot flashes are FAR fewer, but still struggle a bit with them. I started having them before I even started my period!
