Tamara KeszeyDear Kimberly,
I absolutely agree with all of your words. My problem is just partly CAH related. I decided prior to my pregnancy to take Dex, which is only available in Clinics via endos (not in pharmacies) in our country. The issue is, that the leading CAH specialist made the decisons not to give Dex to pregnant women having the rist to deliver CAH girls. I can not do anything, because all his subordinates follow his guidelines. I even contacted an endocrinologist in another city, but he also said that this professor is the competent person in this question.
And it really makes me mad; because I should start taking Dex in these days; but I can not find any doctors who is willing to administer me the sufficient medicin.
So it is my child, but the decision seems to be an endo’s who has never had a severely virilised daughter. Yes, I try to enjoy my pregnancy, but sometimes it is hard....
