Hi Lynn - I understand what you are saying, but what happens when your son is old enough to go out on his own? What happens when he goes to a friends house for a sleepover in the future or to the movies or participates in a extra cirricular activity and you just can’t be there and someone with him has no choice but to call 911? What happens the one time something happens to him and you just aren’t there? Wouldn’t it be a relief to know that your son’s name is "red-flagged" through 911 (potentially nationwide!?!?!) in your STATE? I understand everyone’s comments about, whether they feel more "comfortable because they home-school", " they are only 2 minutes" from their childs school, "at this point no one but family watches on them"....I understand all of that, but I think that everyone needs to think ahead to when they get a little older. This would be a system that could save their lives one day when they are no longer children and living with Mommy and/or Daddy (or whomever) to take care of them every minute. Just food for thought!
