TamiI am in the 6th week of pregnancy, and I (or I should rather say that in our country we) have some difficulties with prenatal treatment.
One of these is related to the CVS. I had a discussion about the possibilities with my daughter’s endo, and he told me, that he is almost sure that the genetic counsellor will not be able to tell us from the CVS, whether our fetus has CAH or not. Ha also assured me, that I will not find anyone in our country who is able to tell me this; so his suggestion is to take Dex during the whole pregnancy if the fetus is female.
So, now I am quite surprised; because it seemed so straight-forward to me to get the results from tha CVS.
I know that in the US the docs might be better educated, and the labs are better equiped, but have you ever heared about these kinds of difficulties?
