I need your help again?  All of this is still new to us.  About a week ago Sara started getting more aggressive and her impulsivity and temper were on the rise.  SHe was alomost kicked out of daycare on Thursday.  We are in Virginia so the heat and humidity have increased greatly.  She is in air conditioned environments but does spend some time each day playing outside.  Apparently       naptime become battle time at daycare.  She was very loud, hitting kicking etc.. for an extended period of time .  She is usually a very good napper.  aThe teacher and I chatted and they tried a few different techniques and Friday was better.  I got to witness the behavior for myself yesterday.  She is tired at nap time so the routine usually takes five minutes.  Yesterday she was highly agitated.  It took 45 mins to get her to a state were she actually laid down to take a nap.  She napped for 90 minutes but the rest of the day, she had a very short fuse and the intensity of her tantrums had increased.  I took her to the peds on Thursday to make sure she didn’t have an ear infection.  Her ears were clear.  We talked about the possibility of allergies so her nose has been a little congested and swollen after playing outside.  Thursday night we started her on claritan.  Thus far no difference.  We leave for our vacation Saturday so I am trying to get it all sorted out.  I just don’t know how to tell if she is demonstrating the terrible twos or if it is related to her Cah.  She arrived from India in March so it could be that the honeymoon is over and she is just testing us with new behaviors.  I know many of you have been through this already so I would greatly appreciate any insights you might have.
