Thanks aimee.  I guess I should have been a bit clearer with my question.

Yes, i realize that anabolic steroids are usually the problem.  But, from previous posts, I think glucocorticoids are also often considered banned substances (e.g. by the Olympic Committee, even though it appears that exceptions are made for medical necessity.)

Of course, someone with CAH would be able to prove medical necessity.  So, in theory, there should be no problem.  

But, I am just wondering if anyone has actually competed in athletics at a fairly high level (not necessarily the Olympics) and had this issue come up.  And, if so, how it was handled.
