re: To mum with SWCAH daughters

Our daughter’s clitoris seemed smaller to us about 1.5 months after being born too. It was also ’verified’ by ped and endo (who had seen her early after birth) and 2 surgeons who met her at about 1 month of age and saw her again recently (she’s almost 4 months).

It was also noted to us that it may also be somewhat decieving because as the baby’s fat around the genitals increases, it can embed the clitoris a bit more, and thus make it seem smaller. That said, again both the ped and endo, absolutely agreed it was smaller and that the drugs she is on to stop the adrenal gland from producing testosterone has likely curbed the clitoris’ hyper growth to be more in line with her normal growth.
