Hello.  I have a 7 year old daughter with SWCAH.  When I got pregnant with my second daughter I took Dex from 6 weeks to 18ish weeks also.  I found out through an amnio that I was carring a girl unaffected and not a carrier.  I had bad side affects from the Dex.  I was very shaky, dizzy, alot a weight gain and very moody!  Also it was a very emotional roller coaster.  I was unable to work and had to quit my job.  The longer I was on Dex the more the side affects went away. BUT Dex is different for everyone,  Just like pregnancy, Dex can cause no side affect to someone else, but could be like it was for me.  So its hard to say how Dex would affect you.  My daughter is now 4 and we have ssen no side affects for her.  I have stretch marks on my legs behind my knee from gaining so much weight so fast!  After everything we went through with our 2 daughters we decided not to have anymore children.  We are blessed with our 2 daughters.  I would not take Dex again!  It was too much to handle and we decided we didnt want to go through it again.  Hope this helps.  Good luck and take care.
