What an awesome site everyone! Thanks so much M.R.! Everyone MUST see this site. Female or Male with CAH. This site deals with CAH itself. WOW. I am so impressed!!!! The endocrinologist has explained this to me but to literally see it in motion was cool. I even showed my daughter and she gets it because she can see it visually. I love visuals. They have a screen that shows how the enzymes work, and then how they don’t work in a CAH patient. SO SO COOL. Every endo. should have this in their office to better explain what is happening inside these adrenals. I showed my eight year old daughter the screen with the deficiency FIRST. THEN showed her the screen of how her adrenals work once she takes her chewy pills (Cortef) explaining how the pills fix this. I told her it was like a production line in a factory. When one guy doesn’t do his job right, it backs up and causes problems for the next. She got it clearly. So cool.
