I think Danny once posted about carriers having higher cortisol levels, and as far as I can remember, he had an article at the beginning of the website which said this, (before he changed the format).  I have read a lot of articles where when one is stressed and panics, the increase in cortisol can affect memory, ever been to the bank and cannot remember your pin number? I have read this is caused by high cortisol levels.
