NO!! Do not swicth your daughter!! My son  is 4 and he almost died becasue he was on prednisone for 3 years. He was so sick and he had NG tubes in his nose he was not growinh he was losing weight his eyes were sunken in his head he looked like death warmed over. It was horrible!! And we switched doctors and the doctor that we have now said that she will never put a child on prednisone again!!  the doctors before we found this one wanted to put a feeding tube in my son he was 3 and weighed about 19 lbs. he now is 4 and weighs 28 lbs. after swithing doctors and being put on cortef!!
