my little girl has had a clitoplasty and will need a vaginoplasty aged 2. we were told that this was standard proceedure.

i couldn’t bear the thought of leaving her as she was born, childhood and puberty are hard enough without adding to the confusion of sexuality and identity by not doing all we can to try and help her look and feel ’all girl’ (sorry for generalisations, but you get the idea)

don’t know much about what you are discussing - could someone fill me in?  is this something i should prepare myself for considering the ops she has been through already?
