my 19 month old son with swcah is also going!  my other 2 kids (5y and 3y) started at his age too and we try very hard to allow them to experience things together and allow my son to lead as normal a life as possible. which, thus far, has been very normal. my 3 year old non affected daughter--literally has a nervous breakdown in the car on the way and for 5 minutes after i drop her off. she has done this for 2 years now. i have learned that--for whatever reason--she needs to do this. after the 5 minutes, she stops and enjoys herself. if my son does this too, i am not going to stress dose him. i do not feel like that amount of time crying values any sort of stress dose. of course, every cah’er is different!
