I believe I had my first Dexa Scan in my very early 30’s. I am turning 40 in Oct. My Dr. starting doing it because of being on cortef for so many years. Results were lower than expected and was told to take over the counter Calcium. Was diagnosed with Osteopenia about 7 years ago(I think). I am now on Fosomax 2x a month. My Dr. skipped the Dexascan this year and wants me tested next after being on it for a full year. I started last Sept.
