Debbie,

We have twins, 2 1/2 years old, with CAH. We were thinking of taking them with us, but have decided against it. I don’t think that we would be able to get as much out of the conference and would have to bring a sitter with us as they don’t stay well with strangers. Also,  I hope to socialize with some of the other parents after the conference and couldn’t really do that with them. My sister and mom will be keeping them and we have right to seek medical treatment form for each of them in case of emergency. Also, it would be a heck of a long trip (9 hrs) for all of us!!

It just depends on your situation if you want to bring your child. I know there is child care available, but would she stay? Do you have a family member or someone who knows of her CAH well enough to keep her? I hope you are able to come.
