Hi,

Both of my younger brothers have CAH. They are now 16 and 18. Although I am not nearly as educated on CAH as I would like to be, I do understand the basics. I know that my parents are concerned about both of my brother’s going off to college, being on their own, and having the responsibility of taking their meds. However, I don’t think they realize the depth of the consequences.

Being the big sis, this worries me as well. My mom has discussed having their Endo "scare" them into remembering to take their meds.

Can anyone help me either with their experiences you have gone through with college boys and CAH? How about some examples of what happens when you don’t take your meds?

Boys will be boys... I just want them to be safe :)
