My Granddaughter is four and she is still in pullups, Somedays she goes all day with out an accident and somedays we change clothes two and three times. She has seen her urologist and he knows she has an extra wide uretha tube and that she has leaking ..but we have held off on surgery to correct it because we are allowing her the chance to learn control on her own. At nights we use a pull up just to be safe. I don’t harp on it too much because I don’t want her to get a complex about something that she MAY grow out of. She is young and holds it till the last minute because she is playing and sometimes she just don’t make it too the potty on time. Sooooo ........ If she needs a little more time its no big deal. Life is too good to sweat the small things. Cah related or not not all childrens bladders grow at the same pace. Most of all I NEVER scold her or make her feel ashamed of having an accident....... hey at my age my bladder ain’t what it use to be! LOL Keyword here is patience.
