I had a similar problem since I have two boys with this condition as well and medication is doubled. I had an insurance change. I fought the increased co-pay by driving home the fact that they could die from not taking this medication and it worked. My doctor supported this and wrote a letter that I submitted. There is always someone higher up to appeal your case to. Good Luck.
