re: re: Hydrocortisone? add

Needed to add that the $11 something is the price for the 20mg hydrocortisone 38 qty out of pocket. I get the 20mg because this pharamacy chain doesn’t stock the 5mg or 10mg but they could order it for me or I could go to their competitor that does carry it. It’s no big deal to snap the stuff in half instead of the special order and I’m comfortable where I shop. It’s on the next block and the pharamacy has  free dog biscuits that I give to the guard dogs .

I can empathize with all your concerns because when they gave me cortef in the hospital I was concerned for the opposite reason because was going to the nurse "Well ...I ...I take hydrocortisone and ummm says hydrocortisone on my bottle at home (thinking ok in my purse and I’m about ready to take that anyway)... this is cortef  (thinking the kids from the CAH board take that) and errr ummm I need my hydrocortisone. She told me that cortef was a brand name and went so far to print out a page for me that showed all the different names that our cortisol ..cortisone runs under. Since we have a chronic condition it’s very good to inquire about what different drugs and reactions are. I like the hydro but maybe not all that good for someone else. When I went from the pred to the hydro, It caused me to worry for awhile also.

Your kids are doing well and any change that might mess that up? ..... any change ...geez if I was a parent? I would be nervous too : )

best wishes,

Aimee
