I have been concerned for any of our CAH families who live in the area that has been devestated by Hurricane Katrina.  My prayers go out to them and all the people in that area!  Also, it has made me think of what would I do in that situation-worrying about having medication for my daughter.  What if all her meds were destroyed and I couldn’t get any from the usual sources?  If I heard warnings of course I would take the medications, and my family and try to get out, but what if I couldn’t get out?  It’s a very scarey thought to be put in a life-threatening situation, but people who rely on medications are especially vulnerable.  All I can do right now is to make a donation and say lots of prayers-and ask others to pray too!  And count our blessings!
