re: Frequent urination in 4 yr old Salt waster(not a UTI or bladder infection)

 Hi Sue,

My 4 year old Granddaughter goes to pee more than me or my husband and we are in our 50’s! LOL I think it is the florinef that makes them go so much......also sometimes she just trickles a small amount....... and this is what I refer to as leaking and I tell her it is OK because sometimes Grandma’s do it too. Our urologist said sometimes that children of this age do not have bladders that are mature enough to to cope with the demands of bathroom skills(emptying the bladder totally ect.) and not to be overly concerned. Mitzi has had some surgery so we are not in a rush to make potty habits perfect. We just use LOTS of praise when it goes well and let the rest slide. Everyone develops at different levels .....give him time he will be fine! But, if you are concerned check with the DR.
