I do not have the school call with any illness.  Either your kids will get it or not,  not much you can do about it ahead of time.  My kids both SW CAH boys have had everything between them,  most illness passes without any issues.  The only time my kids, both of them,  have gotten into "trouble" is with throwing up.  If my boys throw up we give them a shot right away, and then dose them every 6 hours night and day, wake up and give cortfef in the night (triple dose) and give a sweet drink.  Both boys have had a hypoglycimic episodes after throwing up,  about 8-10 hours after.  Anyway after starting my new plan,  the kids have done great.  They don’t like the shot, but it does the trick.  My boys are 6 and 9.  Make sure your son gets plenty of sleep, it helps to keep them healhty.

I don’t know about the acne,  but ask the endo next time.
