I was just wondering what should be done in a situation if my child breaks a bone and whilst waiting for an ambulance to arrive,  should she be given extra medication?   Nothing like this has yet happened (thank God) but say for example she broke a bone at school and no-one could give her the emergency shot until the emergency people arrive, would it be better whilst waiting that the teachers give her extra (like triple) tablets?  Would that be good enough before the ambulance arrives (10-15mins) or would a broken bone be of such a high stress situation that the extra tablets wouldn’t help at all?
