I ask this so perhaps someone else reading this post lives around you and can support you and maybe find some other endocrinologist that can give your daughter the medical attention you wish her to have. Also go to Caresfoundation.org. They can educate you in the world of CAH. I am sure others will post on directing you. Take one day at a time. Don’t let the fear over take you so much that you miss the beauty of your daughter’s birth. Time goes awful fast and before you know it they are in school. It gets easier, although I don’t think those words really help make you feel better now. But truly it does. The more I educated myself about CAH the more I felt I had the courage and the knowledge to handle CAH in my daughter. I think right now you need to establish a good medical program for your daughter. Maybe someone in your area that has CAH or has a child with CAH can direct you. In the mean time my prayers will be with you. It is terrifying the first few months you learn your child has CAH. But like I said, learn about it and it chases the fears away.
