Wow a belly button piercing. Ouch ? My daughter had one when she was in her twenties.....but grew tired of it really fast. Her other clothes would get caught on it and she found it to be more trouble than what it was worth. I can understand wanting to show your nice clear tummy. But for a time being why don’t you just do that....... Show your hairfree tummy and enjoy the feeling of it being bare and clear just the way it is. Nothing is more beautiful than simplicity and also with the low rider jeans and some really cute belts I would think that would be more attractive and  you would be able to change the style and colors more. Just my opinion.  I know at your age you are going to do what you want to do anyway ........ just do some research and see if it is still as popular as you think. Also once you get your belly button pierced ...whats next for a new look more piercings...tattoo’s? They will look great for a while and then they will become norm and boring and you will want something else to give you a lift. Soon your body will be marred and pierced and someday you will want your fresh clear unscarred body back because you will have outgrown the urge for piercings ect. God gave you a fresh beautiful body with nice clear and flawless skin. Take care of it .......as it is an organ just like your heart and the better you take care of it the better it will serve you. My theory is that if God had wanted a hole in me on my brow....belly...lip or anywhere else........ he would have put it there for me.  LOL Just My opinion...so whatever you decide make sure you are ready to have a scar for life if you change your mind down the road. I am sorry you have had such a tough time and I hope the laser works well for you . I am sure I will be facing some of this when my Granddaughter gets to be your age.  She is four now and all I can think about is how hard she has had it when she was sick and I would not want her to risk any illness or infection to her body. I love her waaay to much.
