TerrieHi there, I have not been on the site for some time, too busy trying to support my family I guess. Seems like there is just not enough time in my world. Anyway, my son Michael is now 9 and has SWCAH, and his last labs came back with the 17-Hydroxyprogesterone at 1250, his pediatrician said they should be around 250 but that when she weighed him and measured him and conferred with an endo in Portland Oregon that they decided not to change his meds right now. Is this normal? He has been sick for over a week now and on his third antibiotic but we have had a lot of stress in our life this past summer and moved to a new home and I am working full time, so this is all having an affect on him unfortunatley not much I can do about that as a single mom. Anyway sorry to babble, if any of you have any input that would be great. We do not have an endo and have not for almost 3 years, I spoke with his old one and she said she needs to see him but our insurance does not cover it, so we will be going in November and it is $200 an hour. In the mean time I thought I would check with all of you.
Thanks in advance,
Terrie (Michael’s Mom)
