I removed the eMail field because A. it really isn’t needed that much, and was a sort of tradition on older boards and B. someone pointed out that many people include an email address because they assume they have to, leaving them exposed to spammers as well as other unwanted email.

If you do want to post your email address, I advice that you do it so that spam spider can’t easily recognize it, such as me[at]myaddress[dot]com.
