I was thinking about you. We really didn’ t have anywhere to go but Kelly was nice enough to say that she could probably find someone to keep us a night until we could find a hotel but when we saw that Rita was moving and the freeways were getting clogged we decided to stay put. I was telling Kelly though that I wondered where you had gone when they say that Victoria had mandatory evacuation. I didn’ have anyway to reach you but I figured that you probably wouldn’t have wanted to come here!

I posted the other day that we didn’t get any power outages but as soon as I hit send on my post my computer turned off and we lost power!!!! It was nuts. I did take pictures of our local Krogers because I couldn’t believe at how empty it was.  No bread, milk, eggs, canned goods, sugar, flour, friut...it had been ransacked!!! I wasn’t sure if they would let me take pictures but I snuck a few for our scrapbook! Anyway, glad to hear that you are OK and made it home safely. Now we just need to stay cool!
