I have not started my dex treatment yet.  I see the specialist on Thursday of next week (I am only 5 weeks, so I will be 6 weeks when I start).  I will let you know when I start taking it and how I am feeling.  We are planning to do CVS instead of amnio.  Also, we are taking the maternal blood test at the beginning of next week to test if we are having a boy or girl.  If it is a boy, I will only have been on dex for less than a week before we know and then I can stop.  The test is kind of expensive and it isn’t covered by insurance yet, but we want to know as soon as possible.
