...and it works fast. Now the entire archives have been indexed instead of just part of it as before. I will try to see if I can allow (through the advanced search) a search limited to a specific year or even a specific month. It should be that difficult, but I’ll need to look through the code to see how it’s done.

The script was supposed to be for a web site with up to 20,000 pages. We have almost 40,000 in the archives, and the database is just below 200meg. (The entire site other than the database is only 235 meg). The search still seems to work pretty fast.
