Hi Ian,

Hey, how is the studying going?  I think that all the experiences that you went through will make you a GREAT nurse. In what area are you interested?

I’m actually thinking about changing my social work degree into nursing because you try finding a social work position with a BSW and no experience...it’s not happening! It would take a  year to go back to school to become a R.N. The cancer nurses that were by the way men and an OR nurse told me I should be one. I think it would be fun to work in the Gastro Department.

Me a nurse imagine that! but I think my background having CAH and a couple of other things cancer, hashi hypothyroid, celiac sprue would would help others know that what ever they had ....Oh heck yes ..they’ll make it to the best they can.

So! is it that taking our cortisone may even switch the hormone gages where testosterone is lowered then giving the estrogene more dominance? is that what everyone is saying? I’ve been wondering about this also but a low sex drive ever lol ..yes I’ve obstained but that was will power.  I’ve read CAH supposed to be lack of interest in sex ..err nope not me,  Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis lack of interest in sex ..err nope not me,  Cancer treament lack of interest in sex..err nope not me. I thought menopause would change it also...nope.

The CAH levels must have been over suppressed for all those years because I was on to much prednisone according to the Doc but the ones in the past did their best based on their training and info. Know, I’m on the hydro and nothings changed in that area.

maybe this is just your way of staying focused for school?

Take care,

Aimee
