With Cataracts, from what was explained to me,  got to do with the lens behind your eye. A normal lens is transparent, with Cataracts, it becomes cloudy therefore your vision would be affected. The opthalmoligist did state that with surgery it is corrected. Its best to get checked by an Opthalmoligist.
