Misty,

Unfortunately, our little ones are both allergic to bees and wasps.  So when they get stung, we have to give them a solu-cortef injection and a shot from the epi-pen jr.  Thankfully, it’s been 2 years since the last bee sting.  Each time they’ve been stung, they swell up and go into crisis so quickly it is scarey!  We also give them a benadryl tablet and once their stable a popsicle.  I would ask the endo about stress dosing for this situation.  But, bee stings happen so rarely, I would think it wouldn’t hurt to double or triple the dose- especially if there is a change, like being tired, etc...

I’m glad to hear there was no bee sting allergy and things turned out just fine.  Hopefully these pesky bees will go to bed for the winter soon.  I hate this time of year with the bees being so aggressive!

Best wishes and blessings!
