Wasn’t there an article we read that stated Dr. Maria New was on the brink of that gene replacement idea for CAH that was already working on mice, that she predicted what 20  years in the making they could eventually try this procedure on CAH patients? BUT needed X amount of research dollars to go forward with that project? PLEASE, correct me if I am wrong. I do not have the article in front of me but I do remember this article giving me so much hope for the future of my daughter. If that is the case, I wonder how many of those dollars I prayed for really didn’t go to that study? AND if they did, how much more of those dollars COULD have been used towards this CAH study, and were squabbled away? And would the people that recieved these monies think they were squabbled away? How can that happen? This upsets me personally. This money to research represents hope, and for some, a better life. Heck even just life itself.
