I noticed you live in CT.  You are fortunate, as we live in Indiana and travel out to see the best endo in the US, Scott Rivkees.  He has been the best thing for our 12yo son with SWCAH.  If you need to someone closer (not that NYC is far) I would highly recommend Dr. Rivkees.  Also, his book is a must have.  We have already used it as a reference on several occasions.  My son is on dex because the cortef was too short acting for him, so I don’t have any advice about remembering that afternoon dose.  Good Luck
